Dissolution and Wind-down

Clear thinking nonprofits may decide to pro-actively wind-down (i.e. dissolve) for a number of reasons. But the process of winding down, while straight forward, can be daunting.

Nonprofits may decide to dissolve for a number of reasons: they have “won” by achieving their mission, they are no longer relevant, they have given up, or they believe the risk of continuing is too great.
